Galveston Fishing Pier was built in 1971 & was a favorite spot for fishermen for 37 yrs. Galveston Island has come back beautifully from the storm and we at the Galveston Fishing Pier intend to rebuild a stronger and better pier and invite you to share in our journey to rebuild another part of Galveston's history so that our future generations can create new family memories and experience the great memories of our fathers, mothers and grandparents.
